The career path
Leonardo’s main goal is to develop, for its clients, a comprehensive strategy focused on their major life goals and financial needs. A 360-degree approach that includes retirement planning, financial investments, and related legal and tax issues.
Before becoming “independent,” Leonardo was a financial promoter for many years.
In 1990, the first breakthrough : Leonardo is convinced that in order to best realize the needs of clients, a careful and detailed analysis of the client’s financial situation and goals is necessary, as well as the ability to be able to suggest the most appropriate solutions, choosing the best products available on the market without the constraints of a limited supply conditioned by corporate policies. Hence the choice to operate for a multi-manager bank.
Since 1994 he has been using, among the first in Italy, investment funds of major foreign management companies now widely known, focusing particularly on the Chinese stock market and smaller Asian stock exchanges.
Also during those years, he experimented with the first pioneering Internet connections. In particular, he investigated the investment possibilities in foreign markets that the Net was making accessible to private savers in the United States.
In 2005, he left the activity of financial promoter and undertook, among the first in Italy, the current profession of Autonomous Financial Advisor, being able in this way to broaden to the maximum the horizon of financial and pension instruments that can be used in the advice to his clients, in total absence of conflicts of interest.
Leonardo holds a degree in Business Administration from the “Luigi Bocconi” Commercial University of Milan, specializing in Marketing.
He is a member of NAFOP (The National Association of Fee Only Planners), which guarantees compliance with the requirements necessary for the practice of the profession: independence, competence, integrity, transparency, and confidentiality.
Leonardo Morre: recent activity
Leonardo has delved into ESG and SRI issues in recent years. It is therefore among the first in Italy to be able to formulate, for interested clients, personalized investment advice focused on these aspects, analyzing the details and thus being able to realize true independent financial advice not only focused on ESG issues but with focus on individual components; for example, it is possible to create a portfolio of investments that are specifically environmentally friendly and/or that can have direct impact to try to reduce pollution, or try to reduce the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
Married to Nadia, in his spare time he enjoys long walks in the woods. A rock music enthusiast, he works with a local volunteer association.
